Dr. Paulina Georgiou

Pauline is a Social Anthropologist with a background in Film and Media production. Her PhD investigated human/place relations through a focus on heritage, tourism and conflict. It considered the use of narratives in the creation of identity and belonging with a particular focus on ‘narratives of decay’. Pauline has significant experience in Ethnographic research and Higher Education, and has worked with the UNDP on conflict resolution and peace-making projects. She is active in research including a Horizon2020 project, and projects funded by the Regional Development fund.
